Admissions Criteria for our Two Year Olds

There is availability for funding spaces for early educational entitlements for 2 year olds meeting additional criteria for those who do not qualify for working parents entitlement.

Your child may be eligible for 2 year old funding if your family receive any of the following benefits:

• Income Support
• income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
• income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
• Universal Credit, and your household income is £15,400 a year or less after tax, not including benefit payments
• the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
• are looked after by a local authority
• have an education, health and care (EHC) plan
• get Disability Living Allowance
• have left care under an adoption order, special guardianship order or a child arrangements order

Your child can access their funding on the following basis:

• STRETCHED

​using funding all year round for 51 weeks

​

• TERM TIME

​15 hours a week of free education over 38 weeks

30 hours a week of free education over 38 weeks

You do not pay anything extra for your child who is on funding. The only situations you pay extra are:

- If you need extra hours for your child outside your funding hours. There is availability for additional flexible private hours.

- If you require the nursery to feed your child throughout the child's stay in the nursery while still on funding.

We open for business all year round Private and funding (termtime and stretched), enabling parents to choose from a range of flexible attendance schedules for your children.
