For children aged 9 months to 4 years.
From September 2024, you may be eligible for 15 hours of funding for your child aged 9 months or older if you meet the following criteria:
- You are employed and earn at least the equivalent of 16 hours per week at the national living or minimum wage.
- Your annual income is less than £100,000.
If you are part of a couple, both partners must meet these criteria. If one of you does not work or earns over £100,000, you will not be eligible.
From September 2025, 15 hours for eligible working families will expand to 30 hours, meaning eligible working parents can now apply for 30 hours of childcare from the term after their child turns 9 months until they reach school age.
If you currently receive 15 hours for working families, just reconfirm as usual and the code will work for the 30 hours offer in September, providing you remain eligible.
Your child can access their funding on the following basis:
using funding all year round for 51 weeks
15 hours a week of free education over 38 weeks
30 hours a week of free education over 38 weeks
There is availability for additional flexible private hours.
We open for business all year round Private and funding (termtime and stretched), enabling parents to choose from a range of flexible attendance schedules for your children.
